"How many of these war millionaires shouldered a rifle? How many of them dug a trench? How many of them knew what it meant to go hungry in a rat-infested dug-out? How many of them spent sleepless, frightened nights, ducking shells and shrapnel and machine gun bullets? How many of them parried a bayonet thrust of an enemy? How many of them were wounded or killed in battle?"-General Smedley Butler

"Those who feel the pasion go to war not me, those who love their country to the point of die for it go, not me". What a coincidence, this happens also at goverment levels! pasionate americans follow all these chicken hawks to dead. Ron Paul for president 2008

I'm Buddhist, and pro life. However, Buddhism is about avoiding all extremes, and pro life NO MATTER WHAT is an extreme. This is already a tough world to live in, and there are times when a difficult decision based on its own merits simply has to be made, and that may have to include abortion.

As far as the abortion issue, I was once disabled from work and didn't qualify for any government aid. I ended up homeless for several months. During that time, I had seen the most atrocious conditions IMAGINABLE on the streets of Los Angeles, where BEING homeless in itself is virtually illegal. If THATS your situation, and your pregnant, I firmly believe bringing a child into that is simply worse than having an abortion.

Shut up! That brave young man is fighting the dangerous Idea and Culture War at home! And after a long, hard battle, risking his life for... uh... ideas and culture (I guess), he goes home to an air conditioned living room and heroically orders a pizza while majestically watching the game and having a beer... all while protecting America's freedoms! *sniff* He makes me so proud! He should be given AT LEAST a congressional medal of honor!!!

Chris is justifiedly roasting these 2 guys. The chickenhawk because he would rather fight the "ideological" battle at home where there are no bullets and the other guy because he supports politicians that support the war while professing to be against it. He is obviously disgusted by the hypocrasy. Great! Now lets see him give Ron Paul some time who has a record that backs up what he says!

Yes, because capitalism hasn't made the United States the strongest economy in the world. Oh... wait never mind it did.

U.S. doesn't need socialism and I don't want it. It's just another label affixed to the system of usurpation of wealth and power. We need the corporation, military industrial complex, and international bankers to NOT control our lives. We would need to eliminate central banking systems that perpetuate taxes and parasitically profit from our individual and collective debt, in order to lead independent and prosperous lives.
