| conchubard ::: Favorites ...meant to say this bit first: I love the Velvets! And I remember seeing this documentary in '86 and being completely blown away. But one thing I cant understand is why Doug Yule is completely written out of the Velvet Undergrounds history. | conchubard ::: Favorites ....And considering Doug Yule did (most) lead vocals & played most of the instruments (incl drums) on Loaded (Oh Sweet Nuthin' - anyone?)it seems odd that he is not even mentioned ?? To put this in perspective, Nico only sang on 3 songs. And while I admit that Nico and particularly John Cale are an intrinsic part of the Velvets history was Doug so insignificant so as not to be mentioned??? Then, other people can realize that these experiences happen to everyone and that they are worth discussing.
