prfctday ::: Favorites 2008-01-27 00:39:55 I know my physics, that's why i said 'pressure is constant at every level' (the relationship between the air bubble and the water) nothing to do with the water being non-compressable. I didn't know these rings span around, in fact it's the first time I've seen a bubble ring. Do you mean they spin like a hula hoop? or spin the other way?... that seems more likely to me, as they must be spinning as the air leaves the mouth or blowhole of whatever made them. __________________________________________________
KoroOutbreak ::: Favorites 2008-01-27 00:10:27 OBVIOUSLY IT'S BECAUSE OF GOD NOT SCIENCE. CREATIONISM 2008. VOTE REPUBLICAN. Just kidding. __________________________________________________
Irishfreedom ::: Favorites 2008-01-26 23:44:20 Yea, like the rings around saturn!XD.... They only stay intact as they spin, once they slow down they destabalise and break up into lots of normal small spherical bubbles, also pressure increases the deeper you go down, you're mixing up that with the fact that water is non-compressable, ie a meter cubed of water weighs the same at any depth. As for in space, the water stays together due to surface tension and the lack of external forces to pull the body of water apart (lack of gravity etc) __________________________________________________
