Description:

Wartorn: Battlefields is a game being created in DarkBASIC. This video is the games' intro sequence. It shows the RBC Gail approaching a planet and ordering the battlecruisers to descend into the atmosphere. The second shot shows one of those battlecruisers approaching a battlefield, being supported by Remnant A119 Bombers, F-144E Fighters and Excavator Tanks. Wartorn: Battlefields is a Battle Card Game, meaning the gameplay revolves around the strategical use of a deck of cards. The game has a main story that plays around the events in the second book of the Wartorn trilogy, but provides scenarios from all three books. The game is being designed to have multiplayer at the release version.

Same thing here, usually I export and post-work everything, or import parts from Meta to work on. It always needs some poly-reduction and optimalisation, though.

Thanks. Looks good. Did you render it in DoGa too? I've only ever used it to make models. For me DoGa is cool because you can experiment and knock up concepts quickly. Then export and fiddle with it in another prog.

Prerendered there. I always liked DoGa, it has a certain sense of usability most 3D apps can't rival. Ofcourse, for more complex things I have to use Blender, Maya (bwah, student edition) or Metaseq.

Good use of doga! Is the intro sequence prerendered, or realtime in DB?
