| lucianoestivill 2008-02-09 10:35:36 The only important thing here is Prost,who would have won the race if it wasn't because of the gearbox.Alain did a superb flying lap on qualifying,let's say an "Ayrton-flat out-style" lap,and got the pole.He wanted to win that day,faster than usual,it was a pity he got 4th,but that was something expected to happen:that year Alain retired in 8 races because of mechanical problems.And Arnoux was even worse,I guess he retired 9 or 10 races due to same reason,Renault wasn't reliable at that time... __________________________________________________ | |
