I didn't know these rings span around, in fact it's the first time I've seen a bubble ring. They only stay intact as they spin, once they slow down they destabalise and break up into lots of normal small spherical bubbles, also pressure increases the deeper you go down, you're mixing up that with the fact that water is non-compressable, ie a meter cubed of water weighs the same at any depth. As for in space, the water stays together due to surface tension and the lack of external forces to pull the body of water apart (lack of gravity etc) __________________________________________________ | |
